Im Starsystem des ersten CARGO-hefts war Avi Emanuel so etwas wie die heimliche Zentralfigur. Er ist einer der Gründer der Hollywood-Agentur Endeavor. Die hat sich inzwischen mit der traditionsreichen Schauspieler- und Musik-Agentur William Morris zusammengeschlossen zu William Morris Endeavor Entertainment). Die wohl zentrale Figur dabei: Ari Emanuel. In der New York Times ein nicht übermäßig freundliches Emanuel-Porträt von Michael Cieply und Brooks Barnes. [via ifc daily] Auszüge:
